Why are people saying the new VOCALOID3 Mayu sounds like every other previous Vocaloid? I think she has a quite unique voice, it’s pretty childish and a bit soft, nicely in contrast with her supposed yandere personality. And her design is absolutely lovely! If some sound like other Vocaloids, those are UTAUs. Ever compared, for example, Sukone Tei’s voice to Kasane Teto or Hatsune Miku? She sounds like a combination of the two.
Nonetheless, though, I love her and most other UTAUs as well as all Vocaloids. Let’s not become the Pokemon fandom here, ok?? “In my days there was only VOCALOID2!” “All the new voicebanks are so horrible!”
